An estimated 37 million Americans have kidney disease, with more than 500,000 on dialysis. Although many urgently need this life saving service, it can be hard to access affordable and high-quality care, particular for people living in health care deserts.
Axios will host an evening reception where leaders in the field will discuss health care and policy practices that touch on all aspects of kidney disease, including ways to improve access and affordability in order to alleviate the burden on a growing number of dialysis patients.
